Irina, un SVE très enrichissant à Bruxelles

Irina (portugaise, 28 ans) a passé l'année écoulée en SVE dans une association de Bruxelles où elle a eu l'occasion d'animer des ateliers (artistiques, bibliothèques de rue...) pour les enfants défavorisés et de participer à des actions de soutien auprès des SDF.

Voilà ce qu'elle a pensé de son expérience :
"I feel EVS was very important for my personal development.

I'm more mature, independent and confident.
During the project I have developed technical and social skills (rapid adaptation to different environments and routines, communication ...) that will certainly be useful to find a job.
During the working time, I had the opportunity to communicate with the local community and with differents minorities from other countries. I also participated in several activities with the other volunteers.
In this sense, the EVS has helped me to understand, meet and interact better with other cultures, and also to have a clearer idea of being European.
This project made me feel that any European country can be my home, and because of that, I plan to do a Erasmus masters which will allow me to study in three different European universities.

For all this reasons, I recomend the program EVS to other youth people.".
